As great as the food and
wine are at Robert's, I think his greatest
achievement is the creation of an atmosphere.
It certainly helps that Robert's of
Charleston attracts couples celebrating
special occasions, so the guests bring part
of the romantic atmosphere with them. It's
such a delight to be served and entertained
for two hours without having to do anything.
You don't even have to endure the
interruption of ordering. The combination of
the lighting and color in the room are
intoxicating. Each course comes with
exquisitely paired wines. And the food itself
is indescribably wonderful. It's been about
six months since I've indulged in Robert's
and I can still remember each course like it

I love live entertainment,
so each performance was both exhilarating and
relaxing at the same time. Sad to say, I have
never been to an opera or a Broadway Musical;
however, Robert's passion and charm
transcended my taste in Music. Just as
enchanting is the music played throughout the
evening in between Chef Dickson's
performances. Both selection and delivery
served to enhance the romantic mood.
There's just nothing like
